About the Opportunity

The Helpline is a mental health crisis line in New York City. We offer support, mental health information, and referrals to help-seekers. The Helpline currently stores hundreds of New York City mental health resources in Microsoft Word documents. Helpline Responders search these documents to identify services that meet each caller’s needs and then email the selected resources to the caller. Our goal is to replace our current Word document system with Airtable, a flexible database platform that will make Helpline resources easier to organize, search, and maintain.

We're looking for someone who can:
• Learn how the Helpline currently organizes and uses its resource information
• Recommend an effective Airtable structure for storing, categorizing, and searching information
• Integrate a built-in email automation function (already an available function in the platform)
• Recommend effective ways to use relational aspects of the platform
• Build and test the Airtable system for ongoing use
• Upload data into the system from a clean Excel file
• Provide basic documentation to support future maintenance
