We want to create a yearly social media editorial calendar for 2026 and beyond. Together we will decide on monthly themes, identify the best content types for each platform (Facebook, X, Instagram, and our monthly newsletter), and map out a realistic weekly posting schedule our small team can actually follow.

Specifically, we need help deciding what to post each week, how to tailor the same message for different platforms, and how to plan around our key campaign dates including our legislative push in the fall, the Anciano Project, and Operation Christmas Senior in December.

The finished product should be a simple, ready-to-use calendar our team can pick up and run with independently — and return to year after year.
Voices For Seniors was born out of the isolation seniors in nursing homes experienced during COVID — and that work continues today. Consistent, strategic social media is how we keep their stories visible, hold facilities accountable, and encourage legislators to act. Right now, we post when we can, but without a plan we lose momentum. A volunteer who helps us build this calendar is directly supporting families who are advocating for their loved ones and giving a voice to seniors who need to be heard.
We will come prepared. We can provide our organization's background, a list of our active campaigns, key dates, and the audiences we speak to. We have photos, logos, and hashtags ready to share. Our founder is available and responsive throughout the project and will give quick feedback, so the volunteer's time is never wasted.

Organization Mission

Voices for Seniors exists to protect and elevate vulnerable elderly populations by driving meaningful reform in long-term care through grassroots action, public education, and advocacy for stronger protective legislation. We are equally committed to seeking justice and accountability for families affected by neglect, systemic failures, and preventable loss. Through online platforms and social media, we work to reshape how society values seniors while exposing gaps in nursing home oversight and current protective laws.
