We’re looking to partner with a volunteer who has a strong understanding of the U.S. education system to help us build a 'Teacher Outreach Messaging Toolkit' to address skepticism and grow our waitlist. We provide a valuable service for educators, but we need help communicating the 'no catch' nature of our work and addressing privacy concerns.

The final deliverable will be a concise toolkit including:
- Value-focused copy for our primary landing page.
- An FAQ section specifically addressing common teacher concerns.
- 3-5 short outreach email/social snippets for recruitment.
- A list of recommended 'trust signals' to incorporate into our digital presence.

Success looks like a cohesive set of messaging that we can immediately implement to improve our sign-up conversion rates.
Stronger messaging will increase teacher signups so we can demonstrate demand to funders and secure funding to make kits free for all schools. This will expand the I BElong! Series' reach and help more young students access SEL materials that promote equity, acceptance, belonging, and inclusion.
We will share information from our pilot in 7 Colorado schools, sample kit descriptions, and anonymized teacher feedback so the volunteer can craft targeted messaging. Specific coordination details and any additional materials will be provided during volunteer interviews.

Organization Mission

The Village Ltd., a 501c3 nonprofit organization, has created a diversity, equity and inclusion program called Diversity Rocks! for preschool through third grade, with the ability to expand through 12th grade. Our program currently includes several illustrated children’s storybooks, coloring books, activity books, board game, classroom posters and diversity dolls that tell the story of nine diverse child characters that are classmates and friends. Stories and characters have been developed to appeal to different age groups, and the series promotes equity and acceptance between racial, gender, religious and sexual identity, as well as family structures and those that are handicapable.
